第三封信
To all the ships at sea and all the ports of call. To my family and to all friends and strangers. This is a message and a prayer. The message is that my travels taught me a great truth. I already had what everyone is searching for and few ever find: the one person in the world who I was born to love forever. A person like me, of the Outer Banks and the blue Atlantic mystery; A person rich in simple treasures, self-made, self-taught; A harbor" where I am forever home. And on wind or trouble or even a little death can't knock down this house. The prayer is that everyone in the world can know this kind of love，and healed by it. If my prayer is heard, then there will be an erasing of all guilt and all regret, and an end to all anger. Please. God. Amen.
致海上所有的船只，所有的港口。致我的家人，我所有的朋友和陌生人。这是封信，也是个祝愿。我的人生旅途让我明白了一个事实:我拥有了所有人寻觅却很少有人找到的东西——一个这世上注定我用一生爱着的人，一个像我这样，属于海岸，属于这个神私、海洋的人;一个生活简单，富有情调，自学成才，白手起家的人;一个永远属于我的港湾，无论风暴、磨难，甚至死亡都无法摧毁的家园。我祝愿世上所有的人都能懂得这种爱，并且用它医好一切伤痛。如果这，我们将不再内疚、悔恨，也不会再有愤怒。主，求求你。阿门!
