26 THE STAR	二十六星

Twinkle, twinkle, little star !	一闪，一闪，小小的星!
How I wonder what you are,	你是啥呀我说不清，
Up above the world so high,	远离着地球挂得高，
Like a diamond in the sky.	像颗钻石在天空照。
When the blazing sun is gone,	燃烧的太阳下了山，
When he nothing shines upon,	他不再照耀人世间，
Then you show your little light,	你就发出小小的光，
Twinkle, twinkle all the night	一闪，一闪，整夜地亮。
The dark blue sky you keep	守着深蓝深蓝的天，
And often thro' my curtains peep,	透过窗帘看我的脸，
For you never shut your eye	你永不闭上你的眼，
Till the sun is in the sky.	直等到太阳再出现。
'Tis your bright and tiny spark	你小小火花闪闪亮，
Lights the traveller in the dark;	照着夜行人赶路忙;
Though I know not what you are,	你是啥呀我说不清，
Twinkle, twinkle, little star !	一闪，一闪，小小的星!
