Mission impossible: rob a cash machine

       Thieves toiled for almost an hour with a stolen excavator to dig two cash machines out of a bank branch in the northeastern town of Kuala Terengganu. But they were forced to flee empty-handed when the excavator's digging arm got stuck in the ceiling of the bank, Malaysian newspapers reported Wednesday. A week ago, thieves in northwest Penang  state used a rope to tie an automatic teller machine to a truck and haul it through a glass wall and down a flight of stairs -- only to discover they had grabbed a check-deposit machine by mistake.

不可能完成的任务：偷自动提款机

        本周三，据马来西亚的报纸报道，在马来西亚东北部的瓜拉丁加奴市，一群盗贼用一台偷来的挖土机折腾近一个小时，试图把两台现金提款机从某家银行支行挖出来，但结果因为机械手卡在了银行天花板上，铩羽而归。另外，在之前的一个星期，在西南部的槟榔屿省，一伙盗贼用一条绳子捆住一台ＡＴＭ提款机，然后用一辆卡车把提款机玻璃墙里面拽了出来，滑落到到一排台阶下面，不过，他们弄到手的不是提款机，而是一台存支票的机器。
