Will: Yeah? Will here.
威尔：喂，我是威尔。
Marcus: It' s Marcus.

Will: Pardon?

Will: Marcus? Oh , Marcus. Hi. How'd you get my number?

Marcus: From Suzie. I thought you'd like to take me out for the day on Saturday.

Will: Why did you think that,Marcus?

Marcus: Suzie said we hit it off.

Will: Did she?
威尔：是吗?
Marcus: Yeah. And you said: .. See you soon. "

Will: Said what?

Marcus: "See you soon." The eight you dropped us off. Remember? You said: "See you soon.

Will: Well. okay. This is sooo. all right. Marcus. The thing is my life' s really kind of hectic. at the moment.
威尔：哦，记得，现在是过了不久。但问题是，我现在非常忙。
Marcus: Why? I thought you did nothing.
马可斯：为什么?你不是不用工作的吗?
Will: Yeah. well. I' ve got Ned and stuff to look after. Matter of fact I should be on the way to play school at the moment.

Marcus: What's that noise?

Will: That' s a law mower. So , you know. just time-wise. it's not. it's not... Tell you what. Just hold the line one second.
威尔：是除草机。我没时间……等一下。
(Turning to the barber) Hold the second. Thanks.
(转向理发师)等一下，谢谢。
But then I thought , why not? Why shouldn't I take the poor little sod out for a meal? I could be Uncle Will, cool Uncle Will , king of the kids. Okay , Marcus. You're on.
但我又一想，为什么不请这个可怜的小东西吃一顿呢?我来当一回威尔叔叔，酷叔叔，孩子王。好的，马可斯。你乐意参加。
Marcus: I'll come if you'll take my mum , too. She hasn' t got any money, so either we'll have to go somewhere cheap or you'll have to treat. us.

Will: Well, listen , don' t beat about the bush, Marcus.

Marcus: Why should I? We' re poor. You're rich. You pay. You can bring your little boy if you like. I don't mind.
