A widow bird sate mourning for her love

Upon a wintry bough;

The frozen wind crept on above

The freezing stream below.

[1]珀西·比希·雪莱（Percy Bysshe Shelley，1792—1822），浪漫主义诗人。出生于一个古老的贵族家庭，跟布莱克一样，从小就生活在幻想的世界里：十分的纤敏，有点神经质。在牛津大学读书时就发表《无神论的必然性》，结果被学校开除。个人生活也不遂心。1818年，侨居意大利，从此再没有回到英格兰。1822年，在意大利海岸溺水身亡，终年30岁。代表作有《西风颂》、抒情诗剧《被缚的普罗米修斯》等。
